5 Bikes in one with the RBW-Skull you can safely ride in any type of grip condition, maintaining the maximum feel for a completely new experience
NOW YOU CAN SELECT THE RIDE.
ALL 2008 AND UP HARLEY-DAVIDSON.
SOFTAIL'S AND TOURING MODELS WITH
ELECTRONIC THROTTLE FLY-BY-WIRE
STORM
EASY RIDER
ROAD
FREEDOM
ANARCHY
On a the handlebar mounted switch the rider can select five engine modes to suit rides for different roads and weather conditions
On the left side, storm mode, easy rider mode modulates less power to the motorcycle when you twist the throttle.
On the right side, freedom mode and anarchy mode, modulates more power to the motorcycles when you twist the throttle.
Central position, Road mode, is your default performance mode
Suited for adverse weather conditions. Safer for rough or bad routes The twistgrip is still moved over it's whole range but the throttle may only open 75% providing a more confident and controlled ride in adverse conditions.
An even and more predictable throttle response with soft control but still with torque and power. Greater comfort. Lower fuel consumption in city conditions. Suits motorcycles with modified engine kit and modified modes that provides a more relaxed ride. The twistgrip is still moved over it's whole range but the throttle may only open 90%.
The central position is the one used by the ECM setup at the time of installation.
In this mode the motorcycle is clearly more responsive to the throttle. A more aggressive level that will give you great throttle response. This variability allows the rider to adapt the engine response to their ever-changing needs. Great for mountainous or hilly roads. For carrying extra weight such as passenger or gear.
When you want a short adrenaline rush and high performance ride.
FBW or fly by wire.
Fuel adjustment program: uses electronics to control the air-fuel mixture sent to the engine. This modulates the amount of power the motorcycles gives you when you twist the throttle. and does not void factory warranty, digital tech safe
The RBW SKULL is designed and manufactured with high-tech electronic components and with the highest quality of materials available on the Automotive market. Research and testing has developed a product that is as long-lasting as the the motorcycle itself. The device contains microprocessors and software operating system that delivers 100% reliable safety levels similar to motorcycles using a similar system as a standard feature to obtain a ride that adapts to the needs of the rider in different weather and road conditions. When you select a different mode from the four available, you will get a more aggressive throttle response if you go to the right and a less aggressive response if you go to the left. At each selection, the mode will be active only when the throttle is near the minimum threshold. This strategy ensures maximum safety while riding without unexpected reactions. This means the throttle must be in the rest position in order to select a mode. This means that if you accidentally move the selector while riding, there can be no unexpected reactions from the motorcycle. It is advisable to select modes carefully between one movement and another. In the central position the motorcycle will always operate at the factory power setting or the one programmed inside the ECM at the time of installation. In this mode the device is disconnected from the motorcycle and leaving the system completely in its original configuration. The response of the engine is very evident and the selector is very sensitive and highly technologically advanced. The only recommendation is to use the selector with the responsibly with the utmost caution and consideration to riding conditions.
What strategy ? How does it work? What does it deliver? Fly-By-Wire, Fly-By-Wire , Steer-by-wire, Fly-by-wire or x-by-wire technology in the automotive industry is the use of electrical or electro-mechanical systems for performing vehicle functions traditionally achieved by mechanical linkages. This technology replaces the traditional mechanical control systems with electronic control systems using electromechanical actuators and human-machine interfaces such as pedal and steering feel emulators. Components such as the steering column, intermediate shafts, pumps, hoses, belts, coolers and vacuum servos and master cylinders are eliminated from the vehicle. This is similar to the fly-by-wire systems used widely in the aviation industry. First, the electronic throttle system is significantly lighter, reducing weight in modern cars. They are easier to service and tune, as a technician can simply connect a computer and let the computer perform the tuning. Also, using an electronic control system allows for much more precise control of the throttle opening compared to a cable that stretches over time. It also allows the throttle response to be programmed in by the manufacturers. Because the steering wheel can be bypassed as an input device, safety can be improved by providing computer controlled intervention of vehicle controls with systems such as electronic stability control (ESC), adaptive cruise control and Lane Assist Systems. Some systems, with appropriate modification, allow for control by laptops or even game controllers. Ergonomics can be improved by the amount of force and range of movement required by the driver and by greater flexibility in the location of controls. This flexibility also significantly expands the number of options for the vehicle's design.
